Alexia McPherson, aka "Guitar Girl",

the little gal with a GREAT BIG voice

Alexia McPherson is 20 years old, born in Salem, Oregon currently residing Vancouver Wa. Although Alexia is only 20 and new to many folks in the area, she's been performing since the age of five.

Her parents knew early on that she had great potential as a vocalist when her father Todd McPherson, bassist with the legendary Kingsmen of "Louie Louie" fame, brought her on stage at just 6 years old to a Seattle crowd of 25,000 people, at which point she brought the house down. Since that time she’s played just about every type of gig possible from coffee houses and parties’ to night clubs, street dances and concerts, as a single or duo act or fronting the Hoodoo Johnson band.

Alexia is a true pro steeped in classic rock and roll and blues to more hard rocking and alternative styles, as you can tell by her fans (who may age from pre-teen to grandparents) she has something for everybody. Alexia may pull out a searing version of "House of the Rising Sun", gravel it up a bit with a rendition of "Me and Bobby Magee" or for fun throw in a dash of country rockabilly with "Folsom Prison". She’s also working on her original music and hopes to release her first CD spring of 2007. Whatever style music it might be Alexia gives heart and soul as only a true pro can.
